But rather than live quietly through a witness protection program, "Jon" convinces his family to become ski-masked reality stars and have their adventures chronicled for television audiences.

"Jon," along with his wife and son, is a member of the Witness Protection Program. When Jon agrees to make his family the subject of a reality show, they are moved to New York, made to wear ski masks, given surgical voice disguise processors, and put at a much higher risk of being murdered.
“Susan” is “Jon’s” wife. She is extremely unhappy with “Jon’s” decision to do a reality show, which forced their family to move to New York City, permanently alter their voices, wear ski masks, and constantly be at risk of being murdered.
